You and the Doctor found yourselves bursting through the TARDIS doors, completely out of breath. You were being chased by a bunch of angry vespiforms after accidentally landing in their hive. It was a narrow escape but the two of you had managed to get away in time (with some help from the Doctor's trusty sonic screwdriver, as always). After catching your breath you staggered to your feet. The Doctor was immediately on his and bounding towards the glowing console. You skipped after him.

"Where to next?" you asked. The Doctor's face lit up.

"You're quite the eager one, (f/n)," he grinned at you. He seemed impressed. You took this as a compliment and blushed slightly.

"Can we go somewhere nice?" you asked with a smile.

"Coming right up!" The Doctor gave you a cheeky wink and fiddled with the console. With a final pull of the Wibbly Lever, there was the familiar whooshing noise and the TARDIS pulled into motion. You and the Doctor were thrown off of your feet in seconds.

You thought back to the very first time you had laid eyes on the Doctor and his funny time and space machine. It had only been a few months but it seemed like years ago.

~~~~
It had been very early on a New Years' Day (one-ish) and all of your friends were drunk. You had decided to walk back to your apartment on your own. It was only a few blocks away. You were minding your own business, when suddenly a bunch of strange looking stone angels were blocking your path. You hadn't thought too much about about them but to your horror, they got closer when you blinked.
You had no idea what do to. You looked around frantically. When you came to look at the angel statues again, they were baring teeth. You had a feeling that if you turned your back, looked away or even so much as blinked again, that these statues would try to hurt or even kill you, like some sort of messed up horror film. You wanted to run but your body was so shaken with fear that you couldn't move properly. You were on the edge of a panic-attack when you had heard a kind voice behind you.
"It's alright," said the voice, "You're gonna be okay. Just...don't blink."
"I'm not blinking. Who's blinking?" you said, too scared to think of anything else. You felt comforted slightly when a warm hand held yours.
"I'm sorry," said the voice, "I'm so sorry but you have to trust me right now. Can you trust me?"
You nodded, not taking your eyes off of the angel statues. For some reason, you weren't worried of this person at all. Whoever they were - they seemed better than the statues in front of you. And that voice...it was so...comforting.The person lead you backwards as you watched the angels. Before you knew it, your feet were no longer on damp grass but...metal? There was also a lot more light. You jumped when two small blue doors closed before you.
"What the...?!" You exclaimed. With the statues gone you looked at your surroundings. You weren't on a cold field anymore. You gasped.
The place you were standing in was massive! From the two small doors, a path led up to a console-looking-thing, pulsing with a blue light. There were staircases leading in all directions and wires hanging from strangely shaped pillars. You also discovered the source of the comforting voice. It was a man. He looked older than yourself. He was wearing a blue suit with bright red baseball sneakers and a brown trench coat. He had a nice face. His brown hair was sticking up oddly but you liked it that way. You noticed that he was smiling at you with his arms folded.
"Where am I?" You asked. The man unfolded his arms.
"Well, first things first!" he said. He came down the path to join you. "I'm the Doctor! Very pleased to meet you..." He held out a hand.
"(Y/n)," you finished his sentence and shook his hand hesitantly.
"Miss (l/n), very lovely to meet you, did I say?" The Doctor said.
"Just (f/n), please," you said politely. "Don't think I'm crazy," you began, "But...is this a spaceship?" The Doctor looked at you and grinned. He nodded. "Does that make you...an alien?" you asked a little more curiously.
"Ten out of ten!" The Doctor said. "Well, nine and a half but that doesn't matter." You were starting to like the Doctor. He was odd - that was for sure - but in a good way. He also probably just saved your life.
"Thanks," you said to him, looking into his brown eyes. He looked confused. "For saving my life."
"Oh, THAT!" bursted the Doctor, "That was nothing but you're very welcome, (f/n)." There was silence between the two of you as the Doctor ran up to the glowing console and fiddled with a bunch of strange gadgets attached to it.
"(F/n)?" he called to you at a length.
"Yeah?" you called back to him, your voice squeaking slightly by accident, still recovering from the past events.
"Do you want to travel with me?" The Doctor asked. You hadn't a clue what he meant.
"Where?" you asked.
"Everywhere," he replied plainly. You thought about it. Could you trust this man? What about your family and friends? What would they think if you mysteriously disappeared?
"If you're worried about your friends wondering where you've gone...they won't have to," the Doctor said as if he could read your thoughts, "This isn't just a spaceship, (f/n), it's also a TIME machine. It's called the TARDIS. You can go anywhere, any time and be back for tea."
"And I can trust you, can I?" You still didn't quite believe him.
"Just as much as I can trust you," he replied. 'That's true,' you thought.
"Alright. I'll come with you," you finally gave in. The Doctor looked as if he'd just opened a Christmas present.
"Allons-y!" he yelled excitedly. You laughed out loud.
~~~~

You smiled at the memory. The TARDIS stopped jolting and the noise subsided.

"C'mon," the Doctor said, tilting his head towards the door. You loved the way his hair moved so perfectly when he tilted his head.

You opened the doors to reveal an alien market place. A cold wind nipped at your face, causing you to shiver. The Doctor solved that by pulling a coat around your shoulders and handing you a hat, scarf and some gloves.

"Thanks," you said putting the winter garments on.

The marketplace was decorated with bright red lanterns and strings of fairy lights hanging from purple trees. You and the Doctor walked through the market, stopping at various stalls and buying several cute little ornaments and charms (after being assured they weren't cursed or anything, of course).

The shops ended after a while. It was slowly replaced by what would seem to be a park. There were several odd aliens still hanging around this part of the place but the majority were back at the market. Looking up, you noticed that it had started to snow gently. You found a nice bench to sit on. The Doctor sat next you with a smile.

"This is wonderful, Doctor," you said. He chuckled softly.

He turned his head away from you, looking back at the market.
Taking advantage of this, you cupped some snow in your hands and threw it at his face. You tried really hard not to laugh at his reaction. He turned to look at you menacingly before picking up a handful of snow himself. You jumped to your feet but the snowball had already hit your chest. This meant war.

"You asked for it!" you laughed, throwing another at the Doctor.

Soon, the two of you were laughing so hard that you couldn't throw anymore snow. Both of you rolled on the floor giggling like school-girls. You received a few dirty looks from aliens passing by, but you didn't care. It was just you and the Doctor. Together. And having the time of your lives. Just when you thought you would stop laughing, the Doctor reached out his arm and tickled you.

"No! Stop!" you managed to beg between your giggles.

You hadn't ever thought much about it, but you now realised that you were extremely ticklish. The Doctor finally gave in to your pleading and stopped, a smile plastered to his wonderful face.
You lay your head onto the snowy grass and stared up at the night sky. There were all sorts of alien crafts whizzing up above you, so fast, they looked like shooting stars.

"Make a wish," whispered the Doctor, thinking your same thoughts. You closed your eyes tightly and made a hopeful wish.

"We should head back," you stated after a few minutes. It was probably getting really late on this alien planet - the marketplace had already been packed up. You scraped some remnants of snow off of your clothing as you stood. You walked in the direction of the TARDIS, now longing to get into a warmer (and less snow-filled) outfit.

"(F/n), Wait!" The Doctor grabbed your hand and pulled you back to face him.

"I have something to give you," he explained. He then placed something small and cold in your hand. His face was inches from yours. You looked down to discover he had handed you a key. The TARDIS key. You were lost for words.

"You'll be needing it," he said to you.

"Th-thank you, I..." you couldn't finish your sentence. The Doctor had basically just given you the key to his spaceship - his home. You felt deeply honoured.

"Doctor," you said softly. He nodded.

"Yes, (f/n)?" This was it. Your one chance.

"Oh, screw it," you muttered as you leaned in and quickly kissed the Doctor's soft lips. Embarrassed, you pulled back. The Doctor looked completely dazed.

"Sorry. I'm sor--" your apology was cut off by the Doctor's lips meeting your own in a deep kiss. You pulled him closer to your body, savouring his warmth. You snaked your arms around his neck and played fiercely with his amazing hair. His hands fell down to your waist and he broke the kiss. He smiled down at your beaming face.

"What am I going to do now?" you asked him quietly, "All of my wishes have come true." You felt as if your world had suddenly become a corny fairytale and that this was your happy ending.

"Oh..." said the Doctor, "You should never stop wishing." This made you smile even wider. Everything was perfect. He took your hand once again and walked with you back to the TARDIS.

It might've sounded a bit cheesy but, to you, this wasn't a happy ending... It was the start of something beautiful.
This is the result of boredom on a morning tube ride.
Ah...this is also my first shot at one of these things (sorry if it's crap).
